Can I invent completely new words?
Yes. Definr is designed for invented words, private jokes, slang, expressions and experiences that do not already have a name.
Can I create phrases as well as words?
Yes. Switch between Word and Phrase in the creator, then choose the most suitable language type.
Do I need an account?
No. You can create and export without registering. Drafts are stored locally in your browser, and public submissions can be sent for review without creating an account.
What image formats are available?
You can create Story, portrait post and square cards, then export them as high quality PNG images.
Can I share the cards on social media?
Absolutely. Download them as PNGs for feeds, stories, DMs and group chats, or share the permanent dictionary page for a published entry.
Does Definr write the word for me?
You can create your own content or use the built-in prompts and inspiration library to discover an experience waiting to be named.
How does a word join the dictionary?
Choose Publish to Definr in the creator, add its topic and contribution details, and submit it for review. Approved entries receive their own permanent dictionary page.
